It's Time to Enroll in Your Benefits

As a new employee, you have the opportunity to enroll in your company benefits and choose the coverage that best meets your needs and those of your eligible dependents. Some benefits require an election during your initial enrollment period, so be sure to review your options and submit your elections by the applicable deadline.

You must enroll within 30 days of your hire date. Benefits are effective the 1st of the following month if hired on the 1st-15th day, or on the 1st day of the 2nd month following your hire date if hired on the 16th-31st day of the month.

Waiving Coverage?

Employees waiving coverage may be eligible to receive a $30 per month opt-out credit. You will need to go into www.brevardbenefits.com to elect a waiver of coverage. If you do not do so within your new hire enrollment window or during open enrollment, then you will be ineligible for the opt-out credit. In addition, if you are eligible for Medicare or on the County’s health insurance through a spouse or parent, then you are not eligible to receive the opt-out credit.

How to Enroll

Benefits are more important than ever and we encourage you to spend extra time evaluating your benefit options. As such, we have partnered with EOI Service Company so you can enroll with the guidance of a professional benefit counselor.

It is essential you speak with a benefit counselor to learn more about your benefit options. During your confidential appointment, the benefit counselor will:

  • Review your benefits options
  • Answer questions and provide additional information
  • Enroll you in your benefit selections

To schedule your telephonic benefit appointment, you can:
